Q: Do I need to bring my own saw?
A: Yes, please bring your own hand saw. We do have a limited number of loaner saws available. (For safety, no chainsaws or power tools, please.)
Q: How much do the trees cost?
A: All trees are $60 (tax included).
Q: What types of trees do you have?
A: We grow white spruce, blue spruce, balsam fir and fraser fir on the farm.
Q: Do you wrap the tree?
A: Unfortunately we don't wrap trees.
Q: How do I secure the tree to my car?
A: Please bring rope, bungee cords, or straps. A blanket or tarp is also a good idea to protect your vehicle.
Q: What should we wear?
A: Dress warmly and wear sturdy boots, our fields can be snowy, muddy, or uneven in places.
Q: Can we bring pets?
A: Friendly, leashed pets are welcome, just please be courteous and clean up after them.
Q: Do you take credit cards?
A: We take cash, credit/debit.
Q: When is the best time to visit?
A: Early in the season will have more selection of trees, and later in the season your tree will last longer into the holidays.
Q: How much water does it need?
A: A fresh tree can drink up to 4 litres (~1 gallon) of water per day in the first week! Check every day to keep the stand full.
Q: What happens if it snows or rains?
A: We’re open in most weather! Please dress accordingly, boots and warm gear are recommended.
Q: What happens if I'm unavailable during your opening hours
A: Just send us an email and we can try to work something out.
Q: Can I tag a tree and come back later?
A: Sorry, we don’t offer tree tagging, all trees are cut and taken home the same day.
Q: Do you have a restroom on site?
A: Unfortunately we don't have one onsite. There is a gas station/service centre/McDonald’s 5 min south of the Tree Farm, where Highway 30 crosses the 401.
Q: Can we take photos in the fields?
